Our brand-new level 5 Coaching Professional apprenticeship will equip your staff with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to effectively coach, motivate and communicate with individuals and teams across your organisation, which in turn can help improve employee motivation, efficiency and performance.

There has been a growing demand for the professionalisation of coaching to include one-to-one coaching, team coaching, leadership coaching and for coaching skills to be embedded within culture and governance infrastructures to support future ways of working. Coaching is a way of leading in a non-directive manner, helping people to learn through deep listening and reflective, open questions rather than instructing, giving advice, or making suggestions.

Our coaching apprenticeship is delivered over 14 months through our market-leading e-learning platform, virtual classrooms and support sessions with our expert Learning & Development Practitioners, which gives learners the flexibility to study when it suits them and fit in around work commitments.

What modules will the apprentice study?

There are eight theme titles covered including:

  1. Prepare to coach
  2. Contracting
  3. Identifying individual needs
  4. Coaching tools and techniques
  5. Design coaching interventions
  6. Deliver effective coaching sessions
  7. Provide coaching support
  8. Evaluate coaching interventions and administration
